Rogério Shimmori founded BroadSense Ventures AB in 2007 after a 14-year career as an Executive at Ericsson in various Director positions in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing and Sales. A graduate of Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo, Rogerio holds three business post-graduate degrees including an MBA from IMD in Switzerland.

BroadSense Ventures is a private investment and consulting company based in Stockholm/Sweden. Activities include business investment and development projects with social, environmental, and economical benefits, always aligned with the core values of the company.

Brazilian-born son of Japanese parents living in Sweden, Rogerio is an avid supporter of the Open World Foundation. Growing up in an industrial suburb of São Paulo during the military dictatorship and hyperinflation years (1200% per annum), he appreciates the value of sustainable development.
